I went out on my roof terrace today to get some sunshine and found to my surprise that the flowers I was expecting in March had popped up already. Made me smile and feel very proud, my first flowers :) Sometimes nature is enough to make you happy. To watch something grow.
I had an email today from someone who had seen my photos on Flickr. She wanted to use my cow picture in her computer software for kids with autism or learning disabilities. It is going to be used in a program about Old Mac Donald's farm. Felt nice to be part of something good and now I know that crawling around in the field in Ireland was worth something :)
